How do I book Casa Lara?
You can book on this website by selecting your dates on the calendar.
How much deposit is required
20% deposit is required to confirm booking
When is balance due?
The balance payment is due 8 weeks before arrival date.
How can I pay?
You can pay by bank transfer or by secure debit or credit card payment.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you cancel up to 30 days before the arrival date, we refund any payments except for the deposit. For cancellations within 30 days of your arrival we do not issue a refund of any payments.
Is there a security/damage deposit?
A refundable security deposit of €250 is collected before arrival. This is normally returned within 10 days after checkout, subject to any justified deductions.
Will I receive confirmation after booking?
Yes, you will receive a booking confirmation once you have booked the apartment and paid the deposit.

Which airport is closest to Casa Lara
Murcia is the closest airport to Casa Lara - it's just 25 minutes drive away.
How long does it take from Alicante airport?
Alicante airport is 60 minutes drive from Casa Lara.
Do you recommend hiring a car?
You don't need to hire a car as there are restaurants in walking distance and we can recommend a taxi for trips to the beach and further afield. However, hiring a car gives you flexibility to explore more whenever you want.
Is there free parking at Casa Lara?
Yes, there is free parking outside Casa Lara.
Are taxis or public transport available?
You can book a local taxi by WhatsApp or pick one up outside the hotel. We always recommend booking your return trip at the same time.
There is a bus to Torre Pacheco from the resort - the bus stop is at the Torre Pacheco gate (near the Boulevard).
How far is Casa Lara from Los Alcázares?
Los Alcázares is just 5km away from Mar Menor Golf Resort.
When will I receive the address and directions?
We will send you directions a few days before your arrival.
At this time, we will also send you all the check-in info and a link to our digital guest book full of information for your stay.

Is Casa Lara suitable for children?
Yes, the apartment is on the ground floor with easy access to the swimming pool so perfect for families.
Is there a cot or highchair available?
There is a high chair & travel cot available in the apartment at no extra cost.
Are there family friendly activities nearby?
There is a communal pool a few steps away from the terrace and 13 other communal pools you can use nearby. There is also a park on the resort and a mini golf at the Club MMGR (along with padel courts and another pool). We can also recommend other activities locally such as splash park, water sports, train ride, boat trips, go-karting etc.
Can we stay for several weeks?
Yes, we accept bookings for longer stays and can give you a quote depending on length of time you want to stay.
Is Casa Lara suitable for winter stays?
We have sunshine for over 320 days a year so Winter is a great time for a visit.
Is there reliable Wi-Fi for remote working?
Yes, Casa Lara has high speed Wi-Fi at no additional cost and it's great for remote working.

What time is check-in & check-out?
Check-in is from 3.00pm and check-out is by 10.00am.
How do we collect the keys?
You can pick the keys up from the key safe at Casa Lara and will be given the key code with your check-in information.
Can we arrive late at night?
Yes, you can arrive at any time and collect the keys from the key safe.
Can we request an early check-in or late check-out?
Yes, you can request an early check-in or late check-out and we will always try to accommodate depending on availability. There will be an additional charge for this service.
What information do we receive before arrival?
We will send you details how to check-in and a link to our guest book, full of information about the apartment, resort and local area along with lots of recommendations for your holiday.
Do guests need to provide ID before check-in?
Yes, it is a legal requirement in Spain to provide ID information of all guests. We use an app called Check-In Scan and you will be sent a link before arrival. It's easy to use and the information is secure and only shared with the local police as required.
What if our flight is delayed?
We understand that these things happen so all we ask is for you to keep us updated. Your keys will be waiting in the keysafe ready for your arrival and if you need support with anything else, we are always happy to help.

How many guests does Casa Lara sleep?
Casa Lara sleeps 4 guests.
What is the bedroom configuration?
There is a master bedroom with king size bed (this can be made into twin beds) and a second bedroom with 2 single beds.
How many bathrooms are there?
There are two bathrooms in the apartment - one of which is ensuite to the master bedroom.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
We provide bed linen and towels for the bathroom.
Does the apartment have air conditioning & heating?
Yes, there is air conditioning and heating throughout so you can be comfortable whatever time of year you visit us.
Is there a fully equipped kitchen?
Yes, Casa Lara has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to eat at home during your holiday. There is also a washing machine and dishwasher.
Is there a private outdoor terrace?
Casa Lara has a spacious, south facing, outdoor terrace with room for dining and a comfortable sofa to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Outdoors there is a garden area with sunbeds. The terrace has glass curtains so can be enclosed in winter so you can use the terrace all year round. There is also a second terrace off the second bedroom.

Is the swimming pool communal?
There are 14 communal swimming pools available for your use including one only a few steps away from the terrace.
When is the pool open?
The pool is open 10.00am to 10.00pm every day from 1 April to 1 October.
Are sun loungers available?
There are sun loungers for you to use at Casa Lara. You can take to the pool for your use too but they cannot be left at the pool area.
Are there pool rules guests should know about?
There are pool rules that the guests need to abide by and these will be shared with you in our guest book.
What facilities are on the resort?
There is a golf course, a 5* hotel & spa, Club MMGR with a gym, padel courts, pool, sauna & mini golf and a well equipped supermarket.
Are there restaurants & bars on the resort?
Yes, there are several restaurants and bars at the nearby hotel, Club MMGR serving food and drinks all day and many more on the Boulevard a short walk away. There really is something to suit everyone in the family!
Can guests play golf on Mar Menor Golf?
Yes, guests can book to play at Mar Menor Golf and other local golf courses. We can provide recommendations to hire clubs too if needed.
Is the resort secure?
Mar Menor Golf Resort is a gated resort with security at each gate. The security teams patrol the resort regularly and provide assistance if needed.
